Spectacular Rare Antique reclaimed large 16th century Jacobean Style fireplace made of hand craved limestone with a Trumeau Overmantel. Definitely a captivating one of a kind piece!
The Overmantel with a molded cornice and tongue and grove molding, below are three expressive masks with a strapwork surround and flanked by caryatid pilaster terminals, the narrow mantle shelf above a carved frieze and a molded arched fire recess flanked by pilaster jambs on a plinth molded base.

Condition: Wear consistent with age and use. The piece has been professionally removed. We only removed the anitique firplace mantel not the new surrounding hearth, hearth extension and sides (Please see last two photos)
